I Want Comments
I see a fair number of visitors that come to this site, yet I don’t have comments. Comment on my posts! I don’t care if you agree or disagree with them, I just want to know what people’s opinions and thoughts are. I welcome all comments as long as they’re not spam.
I had some trouble configuring textpattern, but I’ve opened up commenting for all of my posts, not just my new ones. I’m thinking that I don’t see comments because people got confused with the “preview” button (they thought it was a submit button). I made the same mistake where I thought I submitted my comment, but I just previewed. I would like to get rid of the preview option, but textpattern doesn’t allow that. So remember to submit after you have previewed.

Comments are hard to get, my friend, until you establish a community and your readers feel comfortable getting involved. I have been writing at my blog since March, and get comments from about 2% of the visitors. And I have some familiar names on that list. I often email those who do comment for further discussion, sometimes these discussions turn into another post.
